JR. HIGH TRAINING DAYS

Dive into the world of music this summer with Poco a Poco’s Junior High Training Days! Tailored for incoming 6th to 8th graders, this exciting new program invites young enthusiasts to join our accomplished young artists and dedicated faculty for two enriching afternoons of musical exploration. No audition is required. Just submit a registration form and tuition payment!

Participants will immerse themselves in comprehensive training sessions and receive valuable music education from experienced mentors. The program culminates in a performance alongside the Community Choir and High School Young Artists, providing a platform for young talents to showcase their skills.

Mark your calendars for June 10, June 12 evening, & June 14, with a performance and VIP concert seats June 12 & 14. The tuition for this exciting program is $50, making it an accessible and valuable opportunity for young musicians to grow and express their passion for music. *June 12 & June 14, Jr. High students will receive VIP seats and perform at both the Thurs HS Young Artist Student Showcase and the Sat Community Concert!

Community Choir

Choristers of all ages are encouraged to sing in the Poco a Poco Community Choir, joining Young Artists and Staff in group song. Rehearsed selections will be presented at the Community Concert, the final event of the festival. The Poco a Poco music faculty are experts in their respective fields and represent a variety of states, music performance organizations, and educational positions. College students and young professionals serve as Junior Faculty, singing as section leaders in the Festival Choir while gaining performance, instructional, and work experience during the festival week.
