Current Opportunities: Week-Long Internships June 6-13, 2026

    Seeking:

    • Soprano

    • Alto

    • Tenor

    • Bass

    • Pianist

    Who Should Apply: Juniors or seniors currently enrolled in a college music program or young professional musicians who have an experience or interest in teaching.

    What to Expect:

    • Teach private lessons

    • Direct sectionals

    • Sing in the Festival & Community Choirs

    • Perform in the Coffeehouse Concert

    • Participate in professional development opportunities

    Stipend: $175 (includes housing and 2/3 meals)

  • Location: Streator, IL
    Position Type: Seasonal, Internship
    Dates: June 6-13, 2026
    Application Deadline: April 8, 2026

    Who Should Apply: Collegiate juniors or seniors or young professionals who have skill and interest in arts admin. While this role is primarily administrative, there will be opportunities for continued development in music & performances.

    What to Expect:

    • Work directly with Executive Director Kate Tombaugh, Executive Assistant Madison Rose, & her team

    • Help manage and organize music festival with 12+ events during the week

    Stipend: $300 (includes housing and 2/3 meals)

  • Location: Streator, IL
    Position Type: Seasonal, Internship
    Dates: June 6-13, 2026

    Who Should Apply: Collegiate juniors or seniors or young professionals who have skill and interest in arts admin. While this role is primarily behind the scenes support, there will be opportunities for continued development in music & performances.

    What to Expect:

    • Work directly with Poco a Poco’s faculty and guest lecturers

    • Tech support for all events and presentations throughout festival week

    • Help with admin tasks, as needed, involving media

    Stipend: $200 (includes 2/3 meals)
