OUR MISSION
"Poco a Poco is a week-long intensive and interactive vocal music training institute, created to bring top quality instruction and concert opportunities to high school students and the greater community. "
We believe high-quality arts opportunities, performances, and education should be accessible for all. To help make this dream become reality, our organization hosts an annual, week-long 'Summer Music Fest' for young musicians in the central Illinois community of Streator. Inspired by the Italian musical term, poco a poco, we maintain that consistent and steady dedication to a skill can spur tremendous growth. Through our instruction and guidance, we hope to instill a life-long love for music and the arts in our young musicians.
Additionally, through our free and open-to-the-public outreach concerts, we hope to engage arts lovers of all ages in Streator and its surrounding areas.
