Mohammad Abdelrahman began playing the piano at the age of 18 and decided shortly after to take his study of the instrument seriously. He has performed with the Northeastern Illinois University Orchestra as a soloist and winner of the Elyse J. Mach Concerto Competition, the Peoria Symphony Orchestra on synthesizer, and has played piano for the Illinois State University Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Symphonic Winds. 

Currently, he is a graduate teaching assistant at Illinois State University teaching group piano to undergraduate music majors, a faculty member at Piano Pathways in the town of Normal teaching group piano to students of all ages, and teaches one-on-one lessons for the Community School of the Arts at ISU. Mohammad holds a Bachelor of Music degree from NEIU and is anticipating his Master of Music degree from ISU in May of 2026.
