Kevin Mangan
Kevin Mangan is a seasoned music educator with a decade of experience. A 2010 graduate of Schaumburg High School, he earned his Bachelor of Music Education summa cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2014 and a Master of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in 2021. Kevin began his career in the Woodland Unit 5 School District in Streator, IL, teaching K-12 general and choral music. Since 2017, he has been the Director of Choirs at Reed-Custer High School, where he maintains a high-level music curriculum and an active performance schedule. His students consistently achieve high ratings at IHSA Contests, including “Best of Day.” Kevin also teaches dual credit courses for Joliet Junior College and is a faculty member and former board member of the Poco a Poco music festival in Streator, IL.
