Erin Daniel

Erin Daniel (soprano) is an emerging performer and educator passionate about sharing the transformative power of music. A native of Ottawa, Illinois, she recently participated in commencement at Luther College, where she is completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. Erin will officially graduate following her student teaching placement in the fall of 2025.

At Luther, Erin performed leading roles in several operatic productions, including the title role in Cendrillon by Pauline Viardot, Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hansel und Gretel, and Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. She was awarded the prestigious Brudos Family Prize for Opera Performance, given to a student showing exceptional promise for a professional operatic career. Erin also sang with the nationally acclaimed Nordic Choir, serving as Soprano I section leader during her senior year. During her tenure, the ensemble was selected to perform at the 2025 American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Conference.

In addition to her performance work, Erin is deeply committed to music education. She has directed church choirs, taught private voice lessons, and led music instruction in classrooms ranging from elementary through college level. She currently serves as Choir Director at Decorah Lutheran Church and is a counselor for Luther College’s Dorian Summer Music Camp.

A proud alum of the Poco a Poco Summer Music Fest, Erin is thrilled to return this year as a Junior Faculty Intern, ready to inspire and support the next generation of young artists.
