Erin Daniel

Soprano Erin Daniel is a performer and educator originally from Ottawa, Illinois. Passionate about sharing the transformative power of music, she recently graduated from Luther College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education.

At Luther, Erin performed the title role in Viardot’s Cendrillon, Gretel in Humperdinck's Hansel und Gretel, and Pamina in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. She won the prestigious Brudos Family Prize for Opera Performance, showing exceptional promise for a professional operatic career. Erin sang with the nationally-acclaimed Nordic Choir, serving as section leader and performing at the 2025 American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Conference.

In addition to performance, Erin is deeply committed to music education. She currently serves as a long-term K-12 general music and choir substitute teacher near Cedar Falls, IA. Additionally, she has taught private voice and directed choirs. 

A proud Poco a Poco alumna, Erin is thrilled to return this year as a Guest Lecturer, eager to inspire and support young artists.
